OUR HISTORY
Penzance Choral Society has been part of the town's musical life for well over a century, and has celebrated its 150th anniversary. [TBC: founding year]
[TBC: history copy from the committee. Ideas: how the society began; early concerts and venues; conductors over the years; memorable anniversaries and performances.]
In recent years the choir was conducted by Tim Hosken, and in 2025 Kevin Lane became our Musical Director.
We're gathering old programmes, posters and photos for a concert archive. If you have any tucked away, we'd love to hear from you.
